A physical therapy assessment is the initial step in creating a personalized treatment plan to address your physical ailments, injuries or limitations. After conducting a medical history review, physical examination and functional assessment, a treatment plan can be developed.
Potential treatments include:
Manual therapy (joint mobilizations, stretching, massage, trigger point release)
Exercise prescription and self-management strategies
Acupuncture (involves insertion of very fine needles into specific areas to help control pain, improve mobility and muscle function, and promote healing of tissues)

Kellie Thomson MPT

Kellie is a dedicated Physical Therapist with a passion for empowering her patients on their journey to optimal health. With over a decade of experience since 2014, Kellie has honed her skills in treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions including tendon and ligament injuries, muscle strains, fractures, post-op rehabilitation and movement dysfunctions. She has additional training in acupuncture, pelvic floor, K-taping, the McKenzie method and manual therapy.

Kellie’s approach is centered around ensuring that every client receives personalized care aimed at maximizing their progress and well-being. She prioritizes active listening and having a through understanding of each individual’s condition. It is important to her that client’s feel heard and valued.

Kellie’s treatment philosophies are that movement is medicine, strength training is key, and that everyone has some capacity to take control of their condition. Kellie is committed to help you achieve your goals and live life to the fullest.
